30 Years in 30 Days: Day 18- The Cars

As you will come to learn before this segment's over, Len took a lot of pride in his style.  What car you drive is definitely a big part of that and Len showcased several while he was alive.

A 1976 Oldsmobile Cutlass, a 1985 AMC Cherokee Jeep and lastly, a 1986 Nissan 300ZX.  The 300ZX is the one that campus police found traces of cocaine in the day Len died.


One of the reporters who interviewed him on the night he was drafted asked him what he would buy with all the money.  Len stated he would get two Mercedes Benzes, one for his mother Lonise which he had promised her.

And one final interesting tie-in with Reggie Lewis: the first car Reggie bought his wife Donna?  A Nissan 300ZX.
