The campaign for Isaiah Thomas to land on an All-NBA Team begins

The Celtics put some bullet points together backing up Isaiah Thomas' candidacy for one of the three All-NBA Teams. While the teams won't be announced until the end of May, it's never too early to start stumping. What does Brad Stevens think about Isaiah as an All-NBA candidate?

So you think some high praise from his coach, coupled with the Celtics PR Team pushing for his inclusion on the All-NBA team would take the edge off for Isaiah? Nope.

Part of me is rooting against Isaiah. If he doesn't make All-NBA will the chip on his shoulder grow? Will he come back next year and average 30/4/8? That remains to be seen, but his recent glut of 20-point games and general dominance this year speaks to the fact that Isaiah has blossomed into a star. Even ESPN's Chris Broussard begrudgingly ranked Thomas 14th in his player power rankings. And his stats are hard to argue with.

That's a pretty unbelievable run from Thomas, who has his inside/outside game really cooking recently. But maybe the most compelling arguments come from one of the most recent additions to the New England Patriots, Mr. Pot Roast himself, Terrance Knighton. There's been a Vince Wilfork sized hole in the heart of the Boston sports scene over the last year and Pot Roast is wasting no time trying to fill it. And I love him for that:
