Isaiah Thomas befriends star of 1996 action-thriller 'Fear'
At the time it seemed so ordinary. In the middle of a run that would see the Celtics permanently distance themselves from the only other team in the Atlantic Division who will see the playoffs, Isaiah Thomas nailed a big time three. In the excitement of the moment, he pointed to a nearby fan.
And at that moment, you'd be excused if you thought he was just pointing without a real purpose - pointing at any random fan who was excited by Thomas' big shot. But this wasn't just any fan. This was the star of the 1996 action-thriller, 'Fear' - arguably the single greatest cable movie of all time.
For those of you who never turned on the UPN Network between 2004 - 2009: 'Fear' stars Mark Wahlberg as an overtly troubled, obsessive boyfriend who stalks the much more buttoned up, and innocent Nicole Walker (played by Reese Witherspoon). While 'Fear' didn't initially open to rave critical reviews, time has revealed it to be a true, modern classic - combining great performances with thrilling action scenes, resulting in a masterpiece of a film that easy to dive in and out of at any point.
Here's what IMDB user MisoHungry had to say
While this movie had mixed opinions from critics, I thought it was thoroughly underrated. I didn't really see what this movie didn't have to please people around the globe. It had a story, and an intriguing one at that, it had a lot of genres to mix its story up in, it had well-developed characters – especially the character of the father – and it had excellent direction, acting and a great script that explores further into the world of terror. The film succeeds highly because of its characters and the original bunch they are.

Soooooo, anyways, ya, Isaiah Thomas pointed at Mark Wahlberg:
"Yeah man, that was my first time ever seeing him," Thomas said. "Once they showed him on the JumboTron, I had to find out where he is. I hit the shot, I definitely had to point, too."Source: CSSNE.com
Unfortunately Wahlberg opted to merely point back at Thomas, instead of doing this -
