Former Kevin Durant marketer thinks he should come to Boston
A little background for those who are unfamiliar with Nate Jones - He's a phenomenal follow on twitter (@jonesonthenba), and has great insights when it comes to basketball - both on and off the court. He also does digital media and marketing for Goodwin Sports - the agency Kevin Durant was with up until 2012.
And he sparked up more than a little bit of interest today, suggesting that he thinks the best situation for Kevin Durant if he were to leave Oklahoma City would be Boston.
If KD is gonna leave OKC, he should head east. Could be in the Finals every year in the right spot.

Heading East, Boston would be the spot for KD. Tons of assets, great coach, great GM, marketable team brand/history.

Re: KD and Boston. They've set themselves up really well. Has to at least listen to what they are pitching. https://t.co/sHGMFKYRYE

I have no allegiance to the Celtics. Just speaking objectively. I don't think Golden State is the right move for him as a superstar brand.

To clarify, Jones is just speculating as a fan and marketer. He does not appear to be working off any sources, and his current relationship with Kevin Durant is unclear.
