It's official: Isaiah Thomas is an All-Star
Ladies and gentleman, it's official, Isaiah Thomas has been named to the Eastern Conference All-Star team as a reserve. News became official when another Woj bomb was dropped on Twitter:
Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas has been selected as a reserve to the Eastern Conference All-Stars, league sources tell Yahoo.

Marc D'Amico of Celtics.com also dropped an interesting fact about Isaiah Thomas earlier today:
If @Isaiah_Thomas is chosen as an All-Star tonight, he'll become the first plyr ever to be chosen last in the Draft & make an All-Star team.

At 5-9, Isaiah Thomas will be tied with Calvin Murphy for shortest All Star in NBA history.

Obviously this is tremendous news for both the Celtics and Isaiah Thomas himself. The last time the Celtics had an All-Star was in 2013 when Kevin Garnett was voted in as a starter. It's clear that coaches around the NBA have taken notice of the young guard's improved play this year and after all the campaigning by Thomas and fans around the NBA, it's good to see that hard work has paid off for Thomas.
Going from the last pick in the NBA Draft to one of the best young guards in the NBA and an All-Star is something truly special to be proud of for Isaiah and Celtics fans will definitely enjoy watching him represent the green during All-Star Weekend.
