Lineup notes: Marcus Smart sick, Isaiah Thomas to start tonight, Jordan Mickey dominates practice
Marcus Smart is under the weather and did not travel with the team for tonight's preseason matchup in Brooklyn. Via ESPN Boston's Chris Forsberg, Brad Stevens said:
Terry Rozier is hurt as well, and will be out of action most of the week:
In addition, Stevens has decided to rest Avery Bradley and David Lee:
Since the first-string backcourt is unavailable, Isaiah Thomas will likely get the start at point guard tonight, alongside Evan Turner:
The Nets will also be without several players:
If James Young is looking for an opportunity to assert himself, this is the night. C's fans should expect to see a lot of RJ Hunter too. Lee's absence could open the door for added run for Jordan Mickey, who appears to have earned it based on his recent practice performance:
This evening's contest tips off at the Barclays Center at 7:30 p.m.
