Terry Rozier, the 21-year-old, 6'1", first year Celtic has a goal: To posterize LeBron James.
Rozier isn't unfamiliar to putting defenders on posters, but LeBron James is a different beast. The rookie recently returned home for a basketball camp at his former high school. At the end of the session, the new Celtic spoke to the kids in attendance. Via Matt Goul of Cleveland.com:
Rozier took questions from the campers. One asked who’s his favorite NBA player.
“D-Wade,” he responded, referring to the Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade.
Another asked whom Rozier sees himself dunking on this season.
With a smile, Rozier had an answer.
“LeBron,” he said.
Maybe Rozier will upset some C's fans for Dwyane Wade being his favorite player, but I'm sure the critics will back off if he can throw down over the four-time MVP winner. Hopefully the Louisville standout's ambitious goals will lead to some strong production this season, especially against the defending Eastern Conference champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
