Will the Celtics re-sign any of their own free agents? What's the price to keep Jae Crowder?
The Celtics have four free agents of their own--Jae Crowder, Brandon Bass, Luigi Datome and Jonas Jerebko. Danny Ainge has said all along he wants to keep Crowder, and on Monday the C's made him a qualifying offer.
#Celtics RFA Jae Crowder says free agency going well. One of the first teams he spoke with today was the #Celtics . #CelticsTalk

Crowder is now officially a restricted free agent, but the cost to retain him may be higher than anticipated considering what we've just seen:
Free agent Aminu Al-Farouq has agreed to a four year, $30 million deal with Portland, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

DeMarre Carroll has agreed to a four year, $60M deal with Toronto, league source tells Yahoo.

Don't expect anybody to offer Crowder the same money as Carroll, but the Aminu contract is probably in the neighborhood of what Boston will have to match in order to hang on to him. It also looks as if the Mavericks are regretting their decision to deal Crowder in the first place:
Boston and Dallas are leaders so far in pursuit of free agent forward Jae Crowder, league sources tell RealGM. Mavs dealt him last season.

The Celtics had the option to make Datome a restricted free agent as well, but chose not to extend him a qualifying offer. Luigi's time with the C's appears to be over.
Bass and Jerebko are both unrestricted free agents. Reportedly there was a lot of interest in Bass around the league last night, but not from Boston:
8 teams have inquired about Brandon Bass, #Celtics were not on that list but may be concentrating in more pressing needs.

This has got to be quite frustrating for Ainge to hear, considering nobody wanted Bass at the trade deadline in either of the past two seasons.
The news is quiet on the Jerebko front, although Chris Mannix says that "Jerebko's people" believe Boston wants to sign him to a new contract:
@LucidSportsFan @NEPD_Loyko No, I was told by Jerebko's people that the Celtics were interested in bringing him back.
