Stephen Curry voted NBA MVP

Stephen Curry and James Harden were the two favorites and the former just won the 2014-2015 MVP award.
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been voted the NBA's 2014-15 Most Valuable Player, according to league sources.

Sources told ESPN.com that Curry will be officially recognized as the league's MVP as early as Monday and is likely to receive the trophy in a pregame ceremony before Tuesday night's Game 2 of the Warriors' second-round series against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Kind of crazy to think that 3 and a half years ago New Orleans preferred Steph Curry over Rajon Rondo in a Chris Paul trade and people thought they were crazy. Now 3 seasons later, while Rondo was essentially kicked off the Dallas Mavericks in the middle of the playoffs, Curry sits atop the NBA.

Tough break for Harden who had a fantastic season. I expect former MVP's LeBron James and Kevin Durant to get back into the mix next season.

Would you have voted Curry as the MVP?
