Avery Bradley may make trip to Florida, still doubtful to play

On Thursday the Celtics announced that Avery Bradley would not be traveling with the team on its three-game road trip of New Orleans, Orlando and Miami, due to a hyperextended left elbow he sustained during Wednesday's win over the Jazz. Prior to Friday's game against the Pelicans, head coach Brad Stevens had slightly more encouraging news for reporters:

The C's face the Magic on Sunday before taking their talents to South Beach for what will be a big matchup in the playoff race against the Heat on Monday night. Overall they have five games coming up in the next seven days, so there's not much time to rest up if Bradley suffers any setbacks.

Jae Crowder got the start on Friday and had a solid game with 11 points, nine rebounds and a season-high four steals in 37 minutes, also a season high, with Evan Turner moving to the shooting guard position. It worked well in the Big Easy, so expect Stevens to use the same starting lineup in Orlando if Bradley is still not ready to go.
