CLEVELAND CAVALIERS interested in Ray Allen (but he hasn't signed)

While former Celtic Ray Allen hasn't decided if he'll play next year, the CAVALIERS are hoping that if he does decide to, it'll be in CLEVELAND

Agent Jim Tanner posted a statement on Twitter saying the 39-year-old Allen remains uncertain about his future. Tanner felt the need to comment following rumors Allen signed with the Cavaliers.

When LeBron James re-signed with Cleveland this summer it was believed Allen might join him. However, Tanner spoke with Allen on Tuesday and said “Ray’s position has not changed. Ray has not decided if he will play this season nor has he signed w/ the @Cavs.”

The aging 3 point king has kept relatively quiet this offseason, with some rumblings that he may retire to spend more time with his family.

However, the CLEVELAND CAVALIERS sure hope he could put off his family plans one more season as they could really use his shooting and veteran presence coming off of their bench as they look to make an extended run in the playoffs this year.

Would Ray Allen signing with CLEVELAND CAVALIERS change your thoughts on if the Celtics should retire his number? Leave your comments below!
