Rajon Rondo says he wants to stay in Boston, considers himself a 'max contract' guy
From Celtics Media Day:
Does Rondo want to stay in Boston?"Yes. The fans, the people make me want to stay."

#Celtics captain Rajon Rondo says emphatically he wants to stay in #Boston after this year, credits fans for that.

Rondo asked if wants to stay. "Yes," then raves about organization, fans, the love he gets in Boston. "Why would I not want to stay here?"

Rondo: "Maybe I'll use them (trade rumors) to negotiate a no trade clause (as he gives a side eye to Ainge)

Rondo asked if he sees himself as a max contact guy. Answers "yes" as Ainge playfully blinks hard next to him.

When asked the same question, Danny Ainge laughed and said if he were Rajon or his agent he'd say the same thing, but since he's "negotiating against them" he'll withhold.

Should this really be news? Probably not, because there was a zero-percent chance Rondo was going to answer either of those questions differently today. Even if he does want out, this is the right response. And why would he ever say anything other than he believes he is worth a max contract?
But for Rondo fans, it is encouraging the way he elaborated on the fact that he enjoys being in the city of Boston.
