The legendary Laker center also posted on instagram "Pacer fans get ready for next season. I'm helping to get Roy ready to become a serious threat to his competitors."
Through 40 games last year Indiana was 33-7, and Hibbert averaged 12.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game; good enough to make the All-Star Game. From that point on the Pacers went just 23-19, and his numbers fell to 9.3, 5.4 and 1.9. Hibbert then disappeared completely for a large portion of the postseason, going scoreless in four contests while also failing to record a single rebound on one occasion.
