Brooklyn Nets interested in bringing back Paul Pierce
All hell seems to be breaking loose over in Brooklyn, but they are still thinking about keeping Paul Pierce.
#Nets, in a perfect world, would like to offer Pierce a short-term contract for between $6-8 million per season (@NotoriousOHM)

Now the Nets may have just lost their coach, Jason Kidd, (maybe that's a good thing?) and it just came out that they lost over $140 million last year, but hey maybe Pierce may just say screw it and stick around.
Brooklyn did win the season long series with Miami last year, 5-4. Unfortunately those four losses all came in the playoffs.
So would Pierce stick with a sinking ship in Brooklyn rather than chase a ring with a better team? Billy King sure hopes so!
