Paul George not a fan of Lance Stephenson talking trash to LeBron James
After the Pacers' practice on Sunday Lance Stephenson decided to tell the media that LeBron had been chirping at him during the Heat's Game 3 victory, calling it "a sign of weakness." Via ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Stephenson said:
To me, it's a sign of weakness. [People] used to say that to me. I'm going to do something to get you mad. Now he's trying to do it to me. I feel like there's a weakness and I feel like I'm doing something right to get underneath his skin.
Today teammate Paul George basically called Stephenson an idiot for poking the bear (also via Windhorst):
Lance is genuine. Sometimes he needs to keep things more in house and be a little more modest.
He's doing it to the wrong guy. He's barking up the wrong tree. LeBron is the same way, he feeds off that kind of energy.
Ah the dysfunctional Pacers; just when you think they're done they seem to miraculously recover. Maybe this is what they need to spring an upset tonight in Game 4...
