Roy Hibbert wins Clash of the Titans, Durant and "Russ-diculous" dazzle

Game 2: Washington vs. Indiana (series tied 1-1)

Roy Hibbert awoke from his slumber leading the Pacers to an 86-82 game 2 win over Marcin Gortat and the Washington Wizards.

This game was all about the bigs as Hibbert finished with a season high 28 points (10-13), 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.

Gortat countered with a monster game of his own with 21 and 11 including two exclamatory dunks on Mahinmi and Hibbert.

Indiana finally looked like the team from last year's Eastern Conference Finals that I predicted would win it all at the beginning of this season.

Still, Washington was in this game until the very end and are definitely for real.

Game 3 takes place Friday in our nation's capital @ 8 p.m. E.T.

Game 2 Los Angeles Clippers vs. Oklahoma City series (tied 1-1)

The day after receiving his first MVP award Kevin Durant came out with a purpose scoring 17 points on 7-11 shooting in the first quarter tonight against the Clippers.

Glen "Big Baby" Davis kept the Clippers in the game in the second quarter showing off his Celtic championship pedigree filling in for Blake Griffin.

In a little over five minutes Davis had 8 points on 4-4 shooting and five rebounds in the quarter.

Westbrook and Durant had huge halves for OKC combining for 15-25 shooting and 40 points.

The Thunder also got a good contribution from another former Celtic champion in the first 24 minutes. Kendrick Perkins had six points and 7 boards in 16 minutes.

JJ Redick led the Clippers with 16 on 6-8 shooting.

The Thunder jumped all over the Clippers in the third scoring 33 including an 11-0 run late on their way to a 112-101 win.

Russell Westbrook and KD finished with a combined 63 on 23-44 shooting, 22 rebounds and 19 assists including this 3rd quarter hammer from "Russ-diculous."
