Video: Get to know Jerryd Bayless
While the most attractive part of the Courtney Lee/ Jerryd Bayless trade for Danny Ainge was the fact that Bayless has an expiring contract (as opposed to Lee who has two more years left after this one), it shouldn't be assumed that Jerry's stay in Boston will only be temporary. I'm not saying that you should go and invest in Bayless jerseys, but stranger things have happened. Bayless is young enough that if he excels this 2nd half of the season, Ainge would consider re-signing him. And even if he doesn't excel, but can be re-signed for significantly less than Courtney Lee was making, Ainge may still consider the move.
