The Celtics lose second game in a row with Rondo, fall 93-91 to Magic

The Celtics (14-28) have now lost two in a row since the return of Rajon Rondo. Boston had a chance to tie or talk the lead down two with 10 seconds left, but Jeff Green and Avery Bradley didn't seem to know what the play was or at least didn't execute it as Bradley threw a pass out of bounds as the final whistle blew.

Even though Rondo remained on a minutes restriction, playing just 21 minutes, the Magic are not a good team and Boston should have found a way to pull this one out against one of the few teams with a worse record than Boston. Orlando also snaps a 10-game losing streak in the victory.

Green tweaked his knee in the first quarter, but did return. Jerryd Bayless suffered a sprained toe in the third quarter and did not return.

Rondo finished with six points, six rebounds and four assists, Green had a game-high 22 points, Bradley had 18 points and Kris Humphries was a beast with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

For Orlando, who amazingly only played seven players, Arron Afflalo had 20 points and 13 rebounds, Jameer Nelson had 16 points and 10 assists and Glen "Big Baby" Davis had 17 points and seven rebounds.

The road ahead doesn't get any easier as the Celtics next face off against the Heat in Miami Tuesday.
