Celtics fall in Chicago 94-82

The Boston Celtics kicked off a brutal January schedule tonight in Chicago in an ugly game to say the least.

Boston lost 94-82 in a game that really got away from them in the second half. On top of the loss the game was not very appealing to watch as a fan. The Celtics had 19 turnovers and 26 fouls as a team… to go with only 32 field goals on 15 assists. Boston shot 39.5% as a team from the field including only 16.7% from downtown.

Jordan Crawford led the way for Boston with 22 points and seven helpers. Joakim Noah was huge for the Bulls coming up just an assist away from a triple double: 17 points, 11 rebounds and nine dimes.

The Celtics will now need to get home somehow during the blizzard to face the Pelicans at home on Friday night. After New Orleans, it's a five game west coast trip starting against the Thunder on Sunday. January will be the month we find out if the Celtics are for real… or lottery bound.
