Kelly Olynyk dubbed "The Gonzaga Killer" by Courtney Lee
Kelly Olynyk finished today's loss to the Atlanta Hawks with a career high 21 points on 8-11 shooting (3-5) from three and five rebounds in just over 24 minutes.
Although, the nickname "The Gonzaga Killer" leaves a lot to be desired, it was still really nice to see Kelly Olynyk as one of the few bright spots in today's loss to the Hawks.
Courtney Lee, who referred to Olynyk by this, had a nice game as well. Lee was 5-7 from the floor with 11 points:
Olynyk's taken a lot of flak lately because he preformed so well in summer league but has performed below expectations in the regular season.
I don't think it's any reason for concern. He's a rookie who's learning the ins and outs of the NBA. Not to mention, he's been injured.
His fundamentals won't go away and his shot will begin to fall as it did today.
His role is going to be glue role player for the Celtics, not a star, so he will be fine.

Courtney Lee on Kelly Olynyk:
"He came alive. He was the Gonzaga killer."
