Walter McCarty confirms to ESPN that he will join Brad Stevens staff and rejoin Boston Celtics as assistant coach.

This most likely means that James Posey is no longer being considered for an assistant position. This will be McCarty's 2nd stint as an NBA assistant, as he rejoins the organization where he had his most successful years.
