It's August 1st, do you know where your Shavlik is?

Boston must choose today whether or not to cut Shavlik Randolph, or his $1.1 million contract becomes fully guaranteed for next season.  No word yet on any decision from the C's.  Keeping Randolph would give the Celtics 16 players, 4 power forwards, and a payroll that continues to rise above the salary cap and luxury tax threshold.  I want him anyway, they can figure out that other stuff later.  And just in case you didn't pick up on the joke in the title:



If I had kids and I didn't know where they were at 10 pm, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want Darryl Strawberry to know either...
