Celtics assistant coach Larranaga to interview for 76ers job

The Celtics might be having problems trading some players with unwanted contracts, yet their coaching personnel is surely getting a lot of attention. There has been a complete overhaul in that department so that's sorta expected, and the lone assistant coach that remained of Doc's team might also be looking forward to a promotion:
Two NBA sources confirmed that the Sixers will interview Celtics assistant coach Jay Larranaga for their head coaching position. Larranaga just completed his first season as an assistant with Boston following two years as head coach of the NBDL’s Erie BayHawks.

Larranaga has also coached the Irish national team, but frankly, I'm shocked to learn that the Irish have a national team so I don't know if that counts as experience. Apparently having the words Boston and Celtics on one's CV is quite the appeal.

Well, best of luck to Jay Larranaga in his interview.
