Clippers just waiting on Donald Sterling's approval

waaaaah! I don't wanna honor my contract!!!!!!!!
The Celtics and Clippers have apparently come to an agreement to send Kevin Garnett and Doc Rivers to the Clippers for DeAndre Jordan and two first round picks.

A big reason according to Adrian Wojnarowski was a big push from Chris Paul, which has been previously reported. According to Wojnarowski, that interest is mutual as Doc Rivers wants to coach Chris Paul. How you think Rondo feels about that?

After superstar Chris Paul injected his influence to accelerate talks, the Los Angeles Clippers are searching for ownership approval to complete a blockbuster deal to bring Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers and forward Kevin Garnett to L.A., league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Clippers management planned to huddle with owner Donald Sterling on Wednesday night in Los Angeles to get his approval and move on Thursday to finalize an agreement with the Celtics, sources said. Sterling met with Clippers coaching candidate Brian Shaw, an Indiana Pacers assistant coach, on Wednesday night.

Given the Chris Paul involvement, I'll say again, that gives Ainge some more leverage. Ainge could've just let Rivers go broadcast for the year and if any team wanted to hire him in the next three years, he could've gotten compensation.

Sure, he's getting something back, but is it anything more than garbage? Two late first rounders and a bloated contract. Great job, Danny.

The one hope we have is that Donald Sterling stupidly shuts the trade down because he doesn't want to pay Doc Rivers. Then, hopefully Ainge can find another team to take Doc or KG, either now or in the future.

Oh, also, Rivers is taking his coaching staff including Tyronn Lue. Again, great job Ainge.
