Brett Brown would love to be the next Celtics head coach

Baxter Holmes, who's been a nice edition to the Boston Globe and Celtics beat, is reporting that Brett Brown hasn't been named the 76ers coach yet and is "extremely" interested in the Celtics head position.
Longtime San Antonio assistant coach Brett Brown, a Portland, Maine, native who played basketball at Boston University and grew up as a diehard Celtics fan, is "extremely" interested in becoming the Celtics' new head coach, league sources told the Globe Friday.

However, it's unclear how much longer Brown will be on the market. The Philadelphia 76ers are very interested in hiring Brown, who is considered one of the top candidates available, to fill their head coaching vacancy.

Great to see someone actually wants to coach the Celtics. I wouldn't be surprised if the 76ers name him their head coach before Danny even has a chance to interview him, but it's still a story worth watching. We'll keep you updated.
