Carmelo Anthony thanks Gary Washburn for the MVP vote after ending atrocious shooting streak

Following last night's Game 2 win over the Pacers, Carmelo Anthony had this to say about the Gary Washburn voting him for MVP instead of LeBron "scandal."  Via the New York Daily News:
“As far as the guy in Boston, I don’t know why he catches so much flak for that. He has the right to vote for whoever he want. LeBron won the MVP. Why is everybody so mad that he didn’t win it unanimously? . . . Thank you.”

After shooting 50% (13-26 on Tuesday) for the first time in 8 playoff games, Anthony probably thinks he should be the MVP.  Over the previous 4 contests Carmelo was a combined 35-110, good for 31.8%.
