So was signing Jason Terry worth it?
When the Celtics acquired Jason Terry last July, I believe the one comment I heard more than any other was "he can win you a playoff game." Well, on Sunday afternoon he did just that:
Terry scored the Celtics final 9 points in the 97-90 OT Game 4 victory, preventing them from suffering a disastrous collapse and hiding the fact that once again Boston was horrible offensively in the 2nd half (just 30 points before overtime). Unfortunately the win still leaves the C's in a cavernous 3-1 hole; and this game will likely be largely insignificant in the annals of Celtics history.
So the question is, after a mostly disappointing regular season, does getting this one playoff W make the Terry signing a good move?
