Jason Terry drops hint that this is KG's final season

Jason Terry, via Jay King, MassLive:
"Me, personally, I've let Kevin down," said Terry. "I know what he sacrificed to come back here this year. He's the reason why I'm here, and so, again, I just don't want to let him down. I don't want his lasting impression to be, okay we got swept, or we didn't give our best effort. He's our leader and we look up to him."

I knew the Celtics weren't going to lose this game. Didn't think they would need to go to OT, but a win is a win. If the C's can steal one in New York on Wednesday than we have a series. It would also give Boston fans one more chance to see Kevin Garnett put on the home whites. KG essentially announced before the All-Star game that this would be his final season. He then backtracked a bit after he realized that if everyone knows he's hanging it up at the end of the year, he'll be barraged by media questions everywhere he goes. By Terry's quote after the game, it appears at least some of the guys know the Big Ticket's intentions. My guess is that besides Terry at least Paul Pierce and Doc already know.
