[Updated] Celtics are looking to get Jordan Crawford for Fab Melo
It's quite clear the Celtics aren't pursuing any major moves, yet that doesn't mean there aren't going to be complementary ones. From what Chris Broussard has heard, it looks like Ainge is still trying to get a fine microwave oven:
Jordan Crawford is known for one thing and one thing only: His offense. He attacks the basket, and he's athletic. His per 36 minutes stats are as follows: 18.4 pts, 3.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.2 steals. Let's compare it with Barbosa's statistics: 15.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.2 steals. Sound similar? Oh, but Crawford is worse than Barbosa from behind the 3-point line, so there's that.
Is the deal possible? Well, yes. A Washington Post article explains why he's available. When Bradley Beal was injured, for example, Garrett Temple got the starting nod over him, so that says something. Let's see how it will fold out.

This will probably be the only deal to go through today.
