Keyon Dooling announces he's not coming back
We've heard several sides to this story, but now we've heard from maybe the only one that matters. Keyon Dooling himself.
Hey everyone thank you for all the love and support that you guys give me daily.FYI I won't be returning this season #StayTuned @celticslife

With the news that Rajon Rondo would be done for the year, many were scrambling to think of any available guards that could fill his spot. Obviously, Keyon Dooling isn't Rajon Rondo, but he probably would've arugably been the best free-agent option to step in.
Danny Ainge denied that Dooling would come back to the team. Then coach Doc Rivers said he was telling him to "get in shape" and come back. Now it seems that Rivers was either joking or failed to convince Dooling back on the team.
Dooling was a locker room leader for a very tight Celtics squad last year. He retired just before the preseason but returned to the team as a player development coordinator.
Props to Dooling for giving us the mention in his tweet, even though we would've loved if he were coming back.
