Player Grades:
I grade on a curve!

Kevin Garnett: 24 Points, 11 Rebounds
KG had another great game today, as per usual against the Heat. He was a presence down low, and really carried a major load for the Celtics offensively. He rebounded well, and played his normal stellar defense. He came up big in the clutch as well. Still great to see him going strong.
A

Jared Sullinger: 7 Points, 4 Rebounds
Sullinger's impact in the boxscore wasn't amazing, but he added a good deal of toughness to the game. He played some physical defense, but he didn't do as great a job on the boards as usual. It was a solid effort from the rookie.
B

Paul Pierce: 17 Points, 13 Rebounds, 10 Assists
Pierce had a great game today. He had a triple-double in Rondo's absence, and really guided the team emotionally. He did some tough work on the boards and played solid defense (although spotty at times). His shooting woes continued and he turned the ball over far too many times (some being potentially costly), but he produced and was a major factor in the win.
A-

Avery Bradley: 9 Points, 4 Rebounds
Bradley's production wasn't that great this game, but he did a solid job on Dwyane Wade defensively. He didn't shoot well, having trouble with his mid-range jumpshot.
B

Courtney Lee: 4 Points, 2 Assists
Lee had a similar game to Avery, but he didn't shoot well at all. Showed nice aggression, but his production was lacking.
B-

Brandon Bass: 6 Points, 4 Rebounds
Bass had a much better game than his last couple. He didn't play that much, but he produced in his short time. He still didn't shoot well, but it is a step in the right direction.
B

Jeff Green: 11 Points, 4 Rebounds
Green had a great game today, probably the best of the season. The 11 points and 4 rebounds weren't amazing, but his defense was. He shadowed Lebron the entire game, and really frustrated him. Lebron got his points, but Green did his best impression of a lockdown defender tonight.
A

Jason Terry: 13 Points
Terry had an up-and-down game today. He didn't shoot well at all, but he did hit some important baskets. He didn't do a great job facilitating, or on defense, but his scoring was appreciated.
B

Leandro Barbosa: 9 Points, 4 Assists
Barbosa had a nice game today. He was super-aggressive, hit his shots, and did a decent job filling in at point guard. It was a nice effort, and obviously it screamed for more playing time.
A-

Boston Celtics: 100 Points, 46 Rebounds, 24 Assists
Boston played a tough game today, and did just enough to come away with the win. They didn't have a great game offensively, shooting poorly and turning the ball over a lot. They got smashed on the boards, especially the offensive ones. So those problems were still prevalent. But they made their mark on defense. They forced turnovers (and scored off of them), and they limited most of the damage from Miami's offensive rebounds. It was a classic Celtic win. The Celtics now look to their game game, against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday (01/30/13).
