Celtics interested in Kenyon Martin & Terrence Williams

Amick also says that Matt Barnes is most likely headed across town to the Lakers. Martin/Williams would be an either/or thing. I've never really been a fan of Martin. He's tough, but also seems to be an asshole. Obviously at 34 he's also lost some of the athleticism that made him a quality player. I feel like he would duplicate Bass and Sullinger and would prefer just giving the final roster spot to a guy like Christmas over Martin.
Williams is another guy who has talent, but has bounced around due to knuckleheaditis. On a team with Pierce, Green, and Lee already, not sure what his role would be, but to whine about playing time off the bench. Danny did a good job of cleaning up the roster last year to rid it of knuckleheads and was rewarded with a deep playoff run. I'd stay the course this season and pass on these guys.
(On Kenyon Martin) "Martin, remains unemployed despite his reputation as a tenacious defender and enforcer. He's the sort of veteran that could come in handy for any contender, but here's the crucial rub: It appears that most, if not all, of the interested teams want him to sign a veteran's minimum deal.
The Lakers and Celtics have shown interest previously, but the question now is whether the 34-year-old Martin will hold out until midseason or perhaps even retire if he doesn't get a deal and a situation to his liking."
(On Terrence Williams) "Former lottery pick Terrence Williams is still considering his options as well, and a source with knowledge of his situation says the 25-year-old small forward is working out for the Pistons in Detroit this week. Dallas and Boston are believed to be interested as well."
