Celtics survive Clippers late, BOS: 94 LAC: 85

It was a back and forth game, but in the end the Celtics came out on top after a late run helped them seal the 94-85 victory. It was the Celtics second night of a back to back, and their second straight game in the Staples Center.

Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 25 points, Kevin Garnett added 21 points. Rajon Rondo had a double double with 12 points and 10 assists. Ray Allen was helped off of the court with just under a minute left in the game after planting his leg awkwardly running down the court. He could not walk off under his own power but later did return to the game.

The Clippers were led by Blake Griffin's 24 and Mo Williams' 21. Chris Paul scored 14 points.

It was a much needed win for Boston, who improves to 22-19 and next play the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night at 10:30pm EST.
