Frank a finalist for Raptors and Pistons coaching jobs

CSNNE.com:
Lawrence Frank may have been passed over by the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors, but he's still got two more chances with the Detroit Pistons and the Toronto Raptors.

ESPN's Marc Stein reports that according to NBA coaching sources, Frank met with the Pistons for the coaching vacancy on Wednesday, and he's already a finalist in Toronto.

That'd be two straight assistant coaches to leave for head coaching jobs after the season. Thibodeau won coach of the year and led his team to the best record in the NBA. Still I doubt Frank would be able to replicate that success in Toronto or Detroit. Frank was a coach for the New Jersey Nets from 2003 to 2009, holding a 225-241 record there.

Stay with CelticsLife.com for rumors as to who could replace Frank alongside Doc. I hope they can keep the streak of awkward balding guys going!
