Worth the Wait...
If you are in your late 20's or older the memories of 1990 still linger. A Celtics team in transition, as the Big Three were in their twilight years and Reggie Lewis was starting to emerge. But the Celtics lacked speed and athleticism as they faced the Knicks in the first round of the playoffs. Though the green did whatever they wanted at the Boston Garden to go up 2-0 the Celtics went to New York where the Knicks were reenergized and New York forced the series back to Boston for game 5. This is a game that forever linger in my mind as growing up in New York a Celtics fan was a nightmare on this day and the weeks and years to follow until of course the summer of 2007. This is a short film reminding us of the duel in 1984 between Bernard King and Larry Bird, the bad taste of 1990 and of course to welcome the REBIRTH of what was once some serious hatred between both teams. Enjoy.
