So... Corey Brewer?

Corey Brewer has been bought out by The New York Knicks. The Knicks acquired Corey from Minnesota on February 22nd but hasn't played in any games for The Knicks.

Many rumors leaked online that Danny Ainge and The Celtics were close to acquiring Brewer, but the deal fell through and New York snatched him. It's widely believed that Brewer will be joining Boston to fill a similar role to what Tony Allen previously brought.

Brewer is a 6'9" Small Forward who is primarily a defensive player. He's very inconsistent shooting from outside but has All-World Athleticism. The 7th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, Corey was also a member of 2 NCAA Championship teams at the University Of Florida. Corey was the Most Outstanding Player of the 2007 NCAA Tournament.

Corey Brewer is defenitely another guy that could play nice minutes in the playoffs.
