Old Man Strength
Simply put, tonight was the exact ass kicking and message the Celtics needed to hand the Hawks in Atlanta. Despite the terrible officiating yesterday in Toronto that is a game the Celtics should have won and should have been real angry with themselves over losing. Apparently they were. There is nothing like coming home from a long Monday to a 20 point lead in the first half thanks to the work of KG and Shaq who set the tone upfront tonight.
Remember last year when the old, un-athletic Celtics just couldn't beat the Hawks, as they were swept 4-0 in the season series? Things are different now. We are all hoping this team can get everyone healthy (watching them without Rondo is really strange, though Nate was impressive again) so we can all get to witness what the Green can be like with all of the parts in place. Having Delonte back out there again just makes it all even more enjoyable. Depth, toughness and togetherness. Hard not to love our 2010-2011 Boston Celtics.
