The Celtics are playing in their 3rd game in 4 nights. They are also playing in the first of back to back games with the second in front of the home crowd in Hartford, CT. Even though the Celtics game notes list the the regular starters for this game, it is doubtful that Doc will play all the veterans in this one. It's possible that he may start them but play them limited minutes. Or, he may choose to rest them as he did in the first half of the last back to back set and then play them on Saturday against the Knicks.
Doc still has a very tough decision as to which of the 3 players who are fighting for the 15th roster spot to keep. Lasme seems to be the logical choice at this point, but there may be other factors that we aren't aware of that may influence the decision. We can expect to see these three players on the court as Doc continues the evaluation process.
The starters, except KG, played over 30 minutes in the last game and so may get an extended rest in this one. Doc will also be trying different combinations and trying to get the young guys all on the same page as the preseason winds down. Toronto hasn't played since Wednesday when they defeated the Sixers in double overtime. Toronto is still searching for their best lineup and have used a different starting 5 in each of their first 4 games. They are 4-7 against Boston all time in exhibition play.

Question of the Day: How many Celtics will be ejected for looking at a ref, smiling, laughing, walking toward a ref, walking away from a ref, or for being a Celtic?
