Improved conditioning has helped out big men Kendrick Perkins and Glen Davis.
“Perk’s been phenomenal,” Rivers said. “He’s in great shape. He’s just playing well, doing all the things that you’re used to seeing him do. He’s scoring a little bit more on the post. He’s been really good.”
As for Davis, the coach said, “I notice that his feet are moving better. It’s clear Baby’s weight’s down. He can stay in front of people. It will allow us to do more switching than we could do last year, so it’s a good sign for all of us.”
That MMA stuff must be paying off for Baby. And Perk? Well he's getting prepared for his first all-star appearance this year.
