Hey Celtics fans in Romania! celticslife.com has had 214,583 visits from Romania since we originated in September 2009, which puts you at #14 on our list of countries with the most visits. Thanks so much for all the love you've shown for the site these past 10+ years.Similar to a few other countries we've covered so far in the top 20, the Celtics have never had a player from Romania. You guys will have to fill me in if you know any past Celtics of Romanian descent. NBA wise, Romania is most famous for producing the tallest player to ever play in the league George Muresan at 7'7.5"
Muresan averaged double digit scoring for three straight seasons in the mid 90's for the Washington Bullets before his career ended abruptly due to various injuries.
Quite a jump in the visits department from the first six countries we've covered to Romania at #14, so definitely a lot of diehard Celtics fans is Bucharest, Cluj County, Sibiu, Timis County, Mures County, and throughout the country.
