Video: Marcus Smart sets Celtics 3-point record

So much for Marcus Smart not being able to shoot. The Celtics guard set a team record with 11 made 3-pointers in Saturday's loss to the Phoenix Suns.

Smart who ended up with a career high 37 points, to his credit said after the game, he'd rather have the win than the record. After struggling for a few years earlier in his career with the 3 ball, Smart hit 126 last season shooting an impressive 36.4% from behind the arc. This season he's already hit 75 through 32 games played, so he should set a career high again in made 3 pointers for the season. His percentage is down a smidge to 35.5%, but despite what the eyes might tell you, Smart isn't a bad shooter.

Smart will get to see if he's still hot in about an hour when the Celtics take on the Lakers.

Shout out to Antoine Walker, aka the original volume 3-point chucker. Oh man would he love to be playing in today's game.
