Nate "Tiny" Archibald joins BIG3 - Ice Cube on Lakers next coach & Clippers-to-Seattle

Former Celtics Champion Nate "Tiny" Archibald has recently come on board the BIG3 League as a coach. He joins other past-Celtics players, including Al Jefferson, Kendrick Perkins, Joe Johnson, Jason Terry, Big Baby Davis.

Actor, rapper and founder of the BIG3, Ice Cube, joined Jackie MacMullan and Scottie Pippin on The Jump to discuss the BIG3 expanding to 12 teams this year, opening the League to international players - and lowering the age to 27 years. In its third season, the BIG3 just keeps enlarging and improving.

It is no secret that Ice Cube is a dyed-in-the-wool Lakers fan and feels that the rival Clippers may want to think of moving to Seattle. When asked about the next Lakers coach, he made it clear that Tyronne Lue was the front runner. Ice Cube didn't hold back when asked if he could see Los Angeles becoming more of a Clipper Town. He responded, "Clippers don't have a chance, man."

The BIG3 schedule is not out yet, and it is unknown if they will be back in Boston this summer. I was there at TD Garden last August to watch the action, and believe me - there is no down time. The games are competitive - their is star power everywhere - and the players are very accessible to the patrons. It would be great to see Tiny, and the other former guys-in-green, back in Bean Town.
