Watch: Red on Roundball Redux #2 - boxing out
We know you're probably already getting a little stir-crazy for NBA basketball if you happen to be anything like us at CelticsLife, so we decided to help ease our way through the summer doldrums with a look back at a classic video series.
That series, Red on Roundball, is a look at some of the fundamentals of the game orchestrated by legendary Boston Celtics coach and general manager Red Auerbach, and populated by some of the biggest names in the league at that time.
This installation, "Boxing Out", features the G.O.A.T. himself, Bill Russell, as well as Bob McAdoo (interestingly, Boston trading for McAdoo nearly cost the Cs Red, though a fateful encounter with a taxi driver saved us that disgrace), and covers the art of keeping opposing players away from rebounds.
