The Boston Celtics last (literal) banner year wrapped up with a 66-16 record, but you wouldn't know it from the first two rounds of the playoffs.

Against the Atlanta Hawks and future Celtic Al Horford, the Cs had to take the series to seven games just to advance and face the Cleveland Cavaliers and a youthful LeBron James, which also took seven games to dispatch.



The Detroit Pistons were no pushovers, either, requiring six games to advance for their finals opponents, the Los Angeles Lakers. We know how the series ended, but if you want a look back at that postseason run, watch the video above.
