Boston Celtics may reportedly try to sign Joe Johnson
Former Boston Celtics wing Joe Johnson - fresh off a trade from the Utah Jazz to the Sacramento Kings as part of the deal sending Jae Crowder to Utah for Rodney Hood and George Hill to the Cavs - may be bought out, with Boston among several interested teams.
Johnson, who has been a useful rotation player for the Jazz this and last season, could provide helpful depth to the Celts' playoff rotation. His skillset and likely cheap cost will have him in demand, so him returning to Boston is far from a foregone conclusion. With the potential for several more high profile names to join Joe on the buyout market, he may not even end up being one of the Celts' primary targets.

Joe Johnson is expected to seek--and receive--a buyout from Sacramento, per sources, and will be coveted: Golden State, Boston will be among the early favorites.
