Can the Celtics defend Devin Booker?

Saturday afternoon the Boston Celtics faced off against the Phoenix Suns which ended in a close contest, with the Celtics prevailing in the last few minutes. As usual Devin Booker carried his team throughout the entire game, knocking down big shots and keeping his team in the game.

This is nothing new, last season when the teams played, Booker dropped 70 points, his career high. He is the youngest player ever to score 70 points, having been 20 at the time. Booker also holds the record for most points scored in the TD Garden and also the most points scored against the Celtics.

Last game Booker scored 38 points while shooting 16-29 from the field, and also distributed five assists and grabbed four boards.

Booker joins an elite group of players, and even trumps some of the bigger names such as Kobe Bryant and Demar Derozan. These players have only made 16 shots in a game against the Celtics once, while Booker has done it twice in a row.

One game making 16 shots seems low for the amount of times Bryant has played the Celtics, in the regular season or in the Finals. Booker is only in his third season and already has two games under his belt.

Without an injury, how many games will Booker make 16 or more shots against the Celtics before he retires?
