Woj: Amir Johnson to sign with 76ers after sign-and-trade for Jahlil Okafor falls through

Free agent Amir Johnson has agreed to a one-year, $11M deal with Philadelphia, agent Kevin Bradbury tells ESPN.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) July 1, 2017
Colangelo going the Danny route signing veterans to one year contracts. Hours after signing JJ Redick to a 1 year deal, Philly has signed Amir. Lot of money for Johnson, but he was a starter on a #1 seed, so I guess there's that. He also reunites with Colangelo who ran the Raptors when he was there. Amir should be a good influence on the young 76ers. Best of luck to Amir.
Update: Apparently the C's almost got Jahlil Okafor. Man his value has tanked. Still would have been a decent young big to try out for nothing.
Woj in passing said on ESPN that Amir Johnson was almost a sign and trade from Boston to Philly...
