Pierce signing a contract so he can retire a Celtic is a shock to no one, but it came out of left field on a random Monday afternoon in July. He'll go down as one of the greatest Celtics of all-time, and Wyc Grosbeck confirmed in the Celtics press release that his #34 will be raised to the rafters in the TD Garden among the other legends.
