A picture a day to keep the summer doldrums away- 8/6/15

Did you know you're looking at the 2 highest paid players in the NBA from 1992?  We all remember the greatness that was Larry Bird. But Hot Rod Williams being #2?  I wouldn't have guessed it.  While John was formidable (his high-arching shot from the baseline was deadly) and he helped create an imposing frontline along with Brad Daugherty and Larry Nance, only him and Reggie Lewis are the only top 12 paid-players on that list not in the Hall of Fame today.

Anyone still bummed about that 92 semis vs Cleveland?  Celts had a chance to take full control of the series if they won Game 4 but Larry Nance went nuts.  Also, for the second consecutive year, it prevented us from seeing a Boston-Chicago conference final.  I still think Celtics could've upended the Bulls in one of those years.
