Celtics to sign Andre Dawkins on 10-day contract (he'll spend time in Maine)

First reported by Shams Charania of RealGM:

Here's a little more about Dawkins, including highlights of his recent 33-point performance in the D-League.  Yesterday CSNNE's A. Sherrod Blakely discussed what Boston's plan for Dawkins will be:

A league source tells CSNNE.com that if the Celtics do sign Dawkins to a 10-day contract, most if not all of that time will be spent with the team's Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
If that goes well, Boston will look to sign him to a second, 10-day contract. And within those 10 days, Dawkins would spend more time with the Celtics coaches and players before a decision would be made as to whether to keep him around for the remainder of the season.

Dawkins logged 22 minutes over a span of four games for the Miami Heat this year, going 1-for-6 from the floor (all threes) with three points, two rebounds and one assist.
